Inspired by Roman thermal baths, the hammam, which literally means « hot water » in Arabic, is a hot steam bath. It generates gentle moist heat (between 40 and 50°C) with humidity levels that can reach 100%! The hot steam conducts the heat, providing users with a sweat-inducing atmosphere despite a lower temperature than in a sauna.
